Black America Is In Need Of Moral & Spiritual Reform To Be In The Favor Of God Against Our Wicked Enemies

Tuesday, March 10, 2015Brother Mustafaa

Bro. Mustafaa Abdul Muhammad

"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." 2 Chron 7:14

This past weekend many black men, women and people of good will gathered in Selma, Al for the 50th anniversary of that Bloody Sunday March for voting and civil rights. At a time when our human rights are being violated by the constant killing of our people by rouge police forces such a time as Selma needs to be remembered. We had to fight for any advancement in this society and if we want any advancement today we will not get it by laying down like dogs, but by fighting like men and women.

During the 60's, there were two strands of thought: those who wanted integration, assimilation and civil rights and those who wanted separation, independence and black nationhood. These two ideas were represented popularly between Martin Luther King & The Civil Rights Movement and Elijah Muhammad, Malcolm X, The Nation of Islam.

The Hon. Elijah Muhammad advocated wanting equal opportunity in this society with the best in civilized society, but he did not advocate integration at all. He stated in point #9 of The Muslim Program- What The Muslims believe: "WE BELIEVE that the offer of integration is hypocritical and is made by those who are trying to deceive the black peoples into believing that their 400-year-old open enemies of freedom, justice and equality are, all of a sudden, their “friends.” Furthermore, we believe that such deception is intended to prevent black people from realizing that the time in history has arrived for the separation from the whites of this nation."

This flew in the face of the popular idea of the day of seeking assimilation in American society, but The Hon. Elijah Muhammad, as a true messenger of God, was seeing the bigger picture beyond civil rights and some jobs. He advocated "separation" in the spirit of the prophets of old who all told their followers to separate themselves from the wicked societies of their time. He says,

"Finally, I must warn you against the devil's temptations, for they are seeking to make you unfit for acceptance into Allah's New World of peace, happiness and unlimited progress.

They have made you drunkards from their wine, whiskey and beer and other intoxicating. They have made prostitutes of our women. They have caused some of our women to love other women and men to love men and practice sex relations with their own sex.

They have our people addicted to the worst kind of filth. They have made you dependent upon filth and vulgarity for survival."

For example, the biblical book of Ezra 9:11-12 tells the people of God not to even marry the people of the wicked society they were entering.

"Which thou hast commanded by thy servants the prophets, saying, The land, unto which ye go to possess it, is an unclean land with the filthiness of the people of the lands, with their abominations, which have filled it from one end to another with their uncleanness.

Now therefore give not your daughters unto their sons, neither take their daughters unto your sons, nor seek their peace or their wealth for ever: that ye may be strong, and eat the good of the land, and leave it for an inheritance to your children for ever."

Moses & Aaron never told the children of Israel to integrate with Pharoah. Noah never told his people to integrate with the wicked of his day. Lot didn't tell his people to integrate into Sodom & Gomorrah. Even Jesus never taught his people to integrate into the wicked society of his time.

The Black Man and Woman of America are the people that God has chosen for this time and for his own divine purpose. Because of our horrific suffering and torment God has now come to restore us as a Mighty nation. This is the good news/gospel that needs to be told from the highest mountain.

Since the 60's/70's we have gained much in terms of job advancement, political representation, sports domination, visibility on television & in Hollywood and we even have a beautiful first family in the White House headed by a blackman, President Barack Obama. But, even with all these gains we are going backwards as a people. Materially we are doing well, but what about morally/spiritually?

Therefore, the Bible reminds us...

"For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?" Mark 8:36

The Hon. Elijah Muhammad warned us correctly that integration into the wickedness of America would make us just like them. So now we are college educated freaks, corporate ladder climbing freaks, TV & movie role playing freaks, singing and rapping freaks, sport stars freaks, millionaire/billionaire freaks. We have gained the white man's world(materially), but we have lost our very souls.

This is seen most negatively in our family structure, which was over 70% male & female headed in the 60's to now being the exact opposite at over 70% female single parent headed in modern times. And look at the effect the family breakdown has had on our youth in the streets. We once had black communities with businesses, because we couldn't go to whites, but post integration we closed shop and ran to the white businesses.

This should make us ask the question: Was integration a hypocritical trick?

So, In addition to seeking Freedom, Justice and Equality, The Hon. Louis Farrakhan is calling on Black America to get our affairs right with God and clean up from these filthy practices we have adopted from our former slave masters and their children.

God is on the scene and he wants to fight our murderous enemies for their killings of us, but if we are in the image and likeness of them(the enemy) instead of God we cannot be in his favor today.

Let us look in the mirror and make a greater effort to live in a way that would be pleasing to God. Shake off the wicked practices of this morally deprived society and let's march to the victory that God has already ordained for us.

Thank you for reading these few words.
